The history of solar cooking started over two hundred fifty years ago.

Solar ovens are now used through out the world and are vital in areas where wood for fire is scarce and other fuel sources are costly.

Solar ovens can be used to cook any food that can be cooked in a conventional oven or on a stove. Anyone looking for and alternative energy source should consider the benefits that solar cookers offer.

Not everyone can afford an electric vehicle, not everyone will be able to put photovoltaic panels on their homes, but a reliable solar oven can be made from everyday materials so there's no reason everyone shouldn't be an active participant in the solar solution.
