This About Us page is to give you some information about the person behind this website - Chaz.

Chaz has an associate degree in Solar Energy Technology from Cabrillo College in Aptos, Ca. Besides solar cooking, his interests also include solar water heating, solar space heating and solar electricity (PV). He received his degree in solar probably before you were born, in 1983. Don't worry, solar technology has improved since the dark ages (his college days) and solar will be here for a long, long time.

We are located in the upstate of South Carolina, where we get 200 plus solar cooking days a year, which is great when you consider how much energy we are saving and how much we are able to reduce our carbon footprint.
