There are other types of solar cookers, but we're only going to explore these four categories.

We recommend building a reflective panel cooker or a box cooker first before you tackle the parabolic or Fresnel solar cookers. The reason for this is that parabolic and Fresnel solar cookers create "spot" heat, with temperatures sometimes exceeding 1000 degrees F and we don't want you to get burned.
